Don Cadwallader

Don Cadwallader is a retired teacher and former principal of Eaton High School.  He was appointed to the board in November 2001 and ran unopposed in the November 2003, November 2005 and the November 2009 elections.  He serves as Director of District D and serves as the board’s President.  Don and his wife of 42 years, Shelley, have lived in Eaton for 32 years.  Don has served as a city councilman and mayor for 13 years and as a volunteer firefighter for 18 years, including 5 years as chief.  He is currently employed as assistant administrator for the Town of Eaton. Shelley is a teacher for Greeley District 6.  They have two children; Carrie Rutledge, 41 and Rich Cadwallader, 30.  The Cadwalladers enjoy spending time with their grandchildren; Alaric, 16, and Liam, 8.  Don’s education includes Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado; Master of Education from the University of Northern Colorado and a Principal’s License from the University of Denver.
