District Resident Students
Parents of students who reside within the boundaries of Eaton School District must submit the following along with a complete enrollment packet to the District Office (211 1st Street, Eaton, CO 80615):
- Proof of in-district residency (current lease agreement, current mortgage statement, warranty deed, bill of sale, settlement statement from closing, or signed contract with closing date)
- Birth certificate
- Most recent immunization record
- Complete enrollment packet

A child may enter kindergarten if five years old on or before
August 1 of the year of enrollment. All kindergarten programs are full day. Please submit the following to your Elementary School (per the district map on this page) or the District Office (211 1st St.) at your earliest convenience so we can ensure adequate educational resources.
- Enrollment Packet for the School Year (listed above)
- Birth certificate
- Current immunization records
- Proof of in-district residency (current mortgage statement or lease agreement)
Students who do not reside within the boundaries of Eaton School District are welcome to apply to attend Eaton schools as a non-resident student on a space-available basis in accordance with Colorado law. Eaton does not provide student transportation to and from school for non-resident students.

Age Requirements for Enrollment
A child may enter kindergarten if five years old on or before August 1 of the year of enrollment. All kindergarten programs are full day.
Students enrolling in first grade may enter if they are six years old on or before October 1 of the year of enrollment. A student who is at least five years old on or before October 1 of the year of enrollment shall be permitted to enroll in first grade if the student attended at least 120 days of kindergarten in another state.
Proof of birth date is required.
